The latest issue of the Goldwork Guild magazine is now available. Contents include articles on: Learning Embroidery; Timeless Design; Cope Hood; Chinese Linear Design; Book Review; Knots; Couching - clues from the scrap bag; Redundant Embroidery - a Response by Prue King; Redundant Embroidery - Another Take by Jacqui Armitage; Ecclesiastical Embroidery, Church Soft Furnishings, when are they renwed? by Janice Williams; Couching String; and finally, details of what's happening.
The issue also includes details of the latest Goldwork Guild meeting which will be held on Sunday 3rd October 2010 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at Whitminster Village Hall, Gloucestershire. The morning will consist of a goldwork-related enjoyable activity; and the actual meeting will start at 2:00 pm. Refreshments provided, but if you're coming for both the morning and afternoon, you may want to bring a packed lunch, or you can eat in the local pub or nursery which are both close by.
